Legal compliance – Decree 218/05
We comply with legal requirements to sell property in Spain, giving our clients absolute peace of mind about all the properties in our portfolio. In Andalucia, this law is the Decree 218/05.

In 2005, Decree 218/05 was implemented in Andalucia following recommendations from Consumer Watchdogs. The law is included under Consumer legislation to protect and enforce the rights of all consumers in Andalucia.

Its purpose is to safeguard potential buyers and tenants of property by providing a safer legal framework within which to operate. It does this by stipulating mandatory documents and information that must be supplied to potential buyers and tenants. The selling agent must have the Decree 218/05 documentation in order prior to the sale of any property.
